Validity: 3 months

Requirements: A visa is NOT required for British Citizens entering Japan for a period of six months or less for business or tourism provided they hold a passport valid for 6 months, confirmed onward/return tickets and proof of funds.

Performers, however, must apply for a visa and supply the following documents:

+ A passport valid for at least 6 months
+ 1 visa application form completed and signed
+ 1 passport size photo ( taken within 6 months)
+ Signed contract of employment
+ Certificate of eligibility
+ Letter of invitation from Japan
+ Letter of guarantee from the promoter or agent in Japan
+ Documents regarding the business operation of the promoter or agent in Japan
+ Schedule of performances in Japan
+ A list of all visa applicants
+ Documents certifying the applicants’ career or qualifications
